Long War Studios' / Pavonis Interactive's mods SMGPack, AlienPack, LeaderPack, Toolbox, PerkPack, and LaserPack are already integrated into this mod (with different settings and functionality) and should NOT be activated when playing campaigns. This is a "total conversion" of XCOM2 and will not work with other total conversions. In this one, even just one bad roll meant you'd have to charge into overly dangerous situations because you missed that 95% chance to kill that one enemy who now is free to rush in and murder you because you don't have time to keep your position. The first game was also pretty punishing if it gave you a few bad RNG rolls in a row, but it always felt like you could pull yourself out of most situations through clever play. I absolutely hated the timed mission mechanic in this game, to the point where I stopped playing it out of frustration.
